Tottenham Hotspur have lost their opening two Champions League group matches.

Tottenham are third in Champions League Group B at the moment with no point from two matches.
Spurs lost first to Inter Milan away from home in Italy and then to Barcelona at the Wembley Stadium in London.
There are doubts on whether the North London outfit will be able to progress from the group to the knockout stages of Europe’s premier club competition this season.
Former Liverpool striker Collymore has suggested that Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham should aim to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Collymore wrote in The Mirror: “Liverpool and City are the two English teams who can win the Champions League but United and Spurs should be looking at the semi-finals as a minimum as well.”

Big target
Tottenham have a strong team, but there are far better sides than the North London outfit in Europe.
The way Barcelona dismantled Spurs at Wembley highlighted the gap between Spurs and the top teams in Europe.
Tottenham’s target in Europe this season should be to advance to the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
Anything beyond that should be considered a bonus.
