Stan Collymore has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Liverpool should make a move for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez in the summer transfer window.
The former Liverpool striker believes that the Algeria international winger would be a good signing for the Merseyside outfit.
The 46-year-old has pointed out that the 26-year-old is proven at the top level and would love the step-up from Leicester.
Mahrez is a good winger who was instrumental in Leicester winning the Premier League title during the 2015-16 campaign.
The 26-year-old scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists in 36 Premier League start for Leicester that season.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the winger scored six goals and provided three assists in 33 Premier League starts for the Foxes.
Leicester kicked off their 2017-18 Premier League campaign with a 4-3 defeat to Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London last Friday evening.
Meanwhile, Liverpool drew 3-3 with Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
