Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is rated as one of the brightest young prospects to have emerged from Scotland in years. He is that good.
The 20-year-old was outstanding for Celtic in 2016/17, and he put up yet another strong performance for Scotland in their 2-2 draw against England on Saturday.
While the last few minutes saw dramatic turn of events with England managing a late equaliser, the overall quality of the game was poor to say the least.

Stan Collymore, former Liverpool player turned football pundit, has picked up Tierney for praise, saying that he was “excellent”.
Tierney has attracted interest from a host of Premier League clubs, and Collymore says scouts of other clubs will be sending “glowing reports” about the player for this performance.
Chris Sutton, former Celtic player, has hailed him as one of Britain’s top full-backs (Daily Mail), and says that he is better than most full-backs in the Premier League.
Indeed, Tierney is an exciting young talent, and Celtic can expect offers for him in the summer. However, the Glasgow club is under no pressure to sell him at the moment.
