Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a really impressive start to life in the top flight.
Stan Collymore offered high words of praise for Wolves, when writing his regular column for the Mirror, suggesting that Nuno Espirito Santo has managed to cultivate a real old-school dressing room atmosphere at Molineux.
The Black Country outfit stormed their way to promotion from the Championship last season, and they have gone on to take the Premier League by storm.
Wolves currently sit in seventh spot in the Premier League table, having taken 44 points from their 30 games, and qualification for the Europa League is a very real possibility.
Nuno deserves huge credit for the job that he has done at Molineux, and there is not a team in the Premier League who will relish playing them.
When writing his regular column for the Mirror, Collymore raved about the setup at Wolves, drawing comparisons with Nuno’s team and the Nottingham Forest side that he was part of more than 20 years ago:
“I look at Wolves now and see the same sort of old-school dressing-room we had at the City Ground. You can see the players believe in each other and will fight for each other, and it’s kudos to Nuno Espirito Santo, his backroom staff and players themselves for that.”
Wolves aren’t in action again until March 30th when they make the trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley, and Nuno will be well aware that Sean Dyche’s men will pose his team a real challenge, especially considering the fact that the Portuguese has so many players returning from international duty.
