The Italian is still without a win during his time at St Andrew’s.
Midway through last month Birmingham City made the shock decision to sack manager Gary Rowett and replace him with Italian Gianfranco Zola.
It was certainly an odd move from the club, with Birmingham on the verge of the play-off places and Rowett doing a very good job at the club.

However, they decided to change things around and, so far, it has not gone to plan. Zola is still winless during his time in charge at St Andrews and that streak continued earlier, with a 2-0 loss against Norwich City.
It caused a stir on Twitter. Former Aston Villa star Stan Collymore commented on the downfall of the club, suggesting that Villa might finish above Birmingham after all this season:
Considering the position that Birmingham were in prior to Zola’s arrival it is certainly not going down well with the St Andrews faithful that Birmingham are slipping so dramatically.
With Villa now just one point behind them and with a game in hand there is no doubt that Birmingham fans who spent much of the first half of the season gloating at Villa’s expense.
They will hope Zola can turn things around and soon.
