Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Nottingham Forest’s decision to dismiss Martin O’Neill and replace him with Sabri Lamouchi.

Forest have decided to part company with O’Neill after just five months, and the Championship club have replaced him with former France international Lamouchi.

Former Forest striker Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the managerial change at the City Ground.

Pushing for promotion

O’Neill is a Forest legend, but he did not have a great time as manager of the Reds during the second half of last season.

The football that the Reds played under O’Neill was far from attractive, and one can understand why the Forest chiefs have decided to make a change.

It is quite bold of Forest to appoint Lamouchi as their new manager, but it could pay off for the Reds.

Forest are a massive club, and during the 2019-20 campaign, they will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship and clinch a playoff spot.
