Stan Collymore reacts to Aston Villa win against Nottingham Forest

Aston Villa won against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

Stan Collymore has suggested on Twitter that both Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest can sneak into the Championship playoffs this season.

Collymore made the comment on Twitter following Villa’s 3-1 victory over Forest away from home at the City Ground on Wednesday evening.

The result means that Villa are now eighth in the Championship table with 54 points from 37 matches, just two points behind sixth-placed Derby County.

As for Forest, the Reds are currently 10th in the standings with 53 points from 37 games.

Former Villa and Forest striker Collymore has given his take on the result between the two sides on Wednesday evening, and he seems to believe that both the Villans and the Reds can finish in the Championship playoffs this season.

Not only a great result for Villa but not terminal for Forest either with Derby and Boro dropping points.
