Wolves are reportedly keen on signing Aston Villa loanee Tammy Abraham.
Aston Villa could lose top scorer Tammy Abraham this month, with Wolverhampton Wanderers seemingly pursuing a deal.
Villa took Abraham on loan from Chelsea back in August, and he has been a goalscoring sensation with 16 goals in 20 games for the club.
Abraham, 21, has smashed 12 goals in his last 10 games, and his goalscoring exploits for Villa mean that a Premier League return could be on the cards.
However, it seemingly won’t be with parent club Chelsea. Instead, Abraham could be remaining in the Midlands with Wolves.
The Daily Mail report that Wolves want to take Abraham on loan, with the option of buying him for £18million at the end of the season.
A Premier League return would surely be ideal for Abraham as he looks to kickstart his career and potentially get back into the England squad.
Now, former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore and current pundit has taken to Twitter to note that he isn’t surprised that Wolves want Abraham, even if he is a little raw.
Collymore also slammed Villa for relying on a loan player yet again, as good teams own their players rather than taking them permanently and risking losing them.
