West Ham United have agreed to sign Javier Hernandez.
Pundit Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter in order to offer his reaction to West Ham United’s deal for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.
The Hammers have already tied up deals for goalkeeper Joe Hart and right back Pablo Zabaleta, but fans have been waiting to see manager Slaven Bilic bring in a new striker as well.

After allowing loan flops Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri to move on, Enner Valencia was sold to Tigres, leaving Bilic with the inexperienced Ashley Fletcher and injury-prone duo Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho.
West Ham attempted to take gambles on Zaza and Calleri, but this time, they have pushed the boat out to land a proven goalscorer in Bayer Leverkusen’s Javier Hernandez.
West Ham confirmed on their official website on Thursday that a deal for Hernandez has been agreed, and the Mexican international striker will travel to London imminently in order to complete a medical.
Hernandez, 29, is best known for his time with Manchester United, where he scored 59 goals in 157 games, but he has also scored 39 goals in 76 games for Bayer Leverkusen since his 2015 switch to the Bundesliga club.

Hernandez, who also has 48 goals in 96 games for Mexico, has been a natural goalscorer throughout his career, and many believe that he will be able to rectify West Ham’s goal-shy attack.
After West Ham confirmed the agreement to sign Hernandez, pundit Stan Collymore took to Twitter to suggest that the striker is still a huge goal threat and should lift spirits at the London Stadium, but may not be able to hold the ball up as a lone striker.
