Fawaz Al Hasawi appeared to confirm his departure from Nottingham Forest on social media.
Stan Collymore has said that it is time to rebuild Nottingham Forest, after Fawaz Al Hasawi appeared to confirm that he had moved on last night.
Although no official takeover bid has been confirmed yet, the current Forest owner sent out a series of messages suggesting that he was moving on.
Forest are set to be bought out by American businessmen John Jay Moores and Charles Noell in the near future.
And Collymore feels that Al Hasawi moving on is good news for Forest, as they aim to start moving forward as a club.
Al Hasawi has lost almost all support he had at the City Ground, after a frustrating spell as owner.
Al Hasawi has been in charge at Forst since 2012, but he failed to guide the Midlands side forward.

The Reds had a range of managers during Al Hasawi’s time at the helm, and they have remained in the Championship.
Forest’s takeover is set to be officially announced before the end of the month, according to a report in the Nottingham Post.
