Aston Villa defeated Bolton 1-0 in the Championship clash on Saturday.

Stan Collymore has expressed his delight on social media platform Twitter, after Aston Villa won 1-0 against Bolton Wanderers in the Championship clash on Saturday at Villa Park.
Jonathan Kodjia scored his first goal of the 2017-18 campaign, as Villa stretched their unbeaten run in the Championship to seven games.

He scored the only goal of the match from the spot after being brought down in the box by Mark Beevers.
After a stuttering start to the season, Steve Bruce’s side are slowly picking up the momentum, with Villa winning their last four games in the Championship.

They have climbed up to the seventh place in the league, and are just five points behind league leaders Cardiff.
‘Hi Championship, Daddy’s home,” tweeted Collymore with a picture of a lion, and using the hashtag #UTV.
He followed it up with another tweet, saying “out of the darkness, cometh the Villa”.
Aston Villa will face Wolves in their next Championship game after the international break, and Collymore said “let the derby week begin”.
