Aston Villa snapped up Neil Taylor from Swansea City on deadline day.
Pundit Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to hail Aston Villa’s move for Swansea City left back Neil Taylor, suggesting he’s a very good signing for the club.
January proved to be a busy month for Villa in the transfer market, as manager Steve Bruce was backed with eight new signings to boost his squad.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, right back James Bree, centre back Jacob Bedeau, midfielders Birkir Bjarnason, Conor Hourihane and Henri Lansbury as well as striker Scott Hogan all joined the club in January.
Another player to make the move to Villa Park was left back Neil Taylor, as the Welshman signed for the club in a deal which saw Ghanaian attacker Jordan Ayew head in the opposite direction.

Taylor, 27, has been featuring prominently for Swansea ever since signing from Wrexham in 2010, making more than 150 appearances for the club.
The Welsh international, who has 37 appearances for his country, had been playing regularly for Swansea, but new manager Paul Clement swooped to land a new left back last month in Martin Olsson.
Taylor will now compete with Jordan Amavi for a left back spot at Villa having signed before the deadline on Tuesday, and his arrival has prompted a reaction from former Villa striker and current pundit. Stan Collymore.
Collymore took to Twitter to suggest that Taylor is a ‘steady, good defender’ with great positioning, and is the kind of player Collymore wants Villa to sign given that he was cheap, proven and has international pedigree.
Collymore added that he thinks Amavi could be pushed forward to left midfield in order to accommodate Taylor at left back, where the Frenchman’s attacking ability would be better suited.
