Stan Collymore has given his take on Twitter on Tottenham Hotspur reportedly set to sign Joe Hart on a free transfer.
The former Liverpool striker believes that there will be more of such transfers this summer.
According to The Guardian, Hart is having a medical at Tottenham as he closes in a move to the North London outfit.
The report has claimed that the England international goalkeeper – who is a free agent at the moment after leaving Burnley earlier this summer – will sign a two-year contract.
Hart will replace Michel Vorm in Jose Mourinho’s squad, with the Dutchman having left Tottenham at the end of the past season.
Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?
Hart is 33 years of age and has not been at his best for a while now, and the Englishman has also not played much football in recent years.
However, the former Manchester City goalkeeper remains a very capable player, and with his vast experience, he will push Hugo Lloris and will be an able back-up.
Spurs need competition in their squad in all areas in order to have a successful 2020-21 campaign.
