Tottenham Hotspur play host to Liverpool in the pick of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures on Saturday lunchtime at Wembley, and Stan Collymore has given his prediction for the clash.

Spurs come into the match after three wins from their opening four Premier League matches, including a 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford – but they suffered a 2-1 loss to Watford in their last fixture.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have begun the Premier League season in fantastic form, winning all four matches and scoring nine goals – only conceding one goal in that time. But Spurs promise to offer the Reds’ most challenging prospect.

Collymore, who turned out for Liverpool for two years between 1995 and 1997, reckons Spurs will pick up a point on home soil in a 2-2 draw against his former side.

Liverpool are expected to have four players out, with Simon Mignolet, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains sidelined until the end of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Spurs also have a number of players out, as Dele Alli, Hugo Lloris, Juan Foyth, Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko are struggling with muscle problems. Vincent Janssen is out until January with a foot injury.

Liverpool have only lost to Spurs once in the last 12 meetings between the two sides, which came in the form of a 4-1 loss at Wembley last season thanks to a brace from Harry Kane and goals from Alli and Son Heung-min.
