Writing in his column for Boyle Sports, Stan Collymore has suggested that Daniel Sturridge could become unsettled under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have had something of an overhaul this summer as no fewer than seven new faces have arrived at Anfield.
Their forward line has seen particular improvement, with big money paid for Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum.
With Danny Ings returning to fitness and Divock Origi continuing to flourish that sees Sturridge facing a fight for first team football moving forward.

Last weekend saw him putting in an indifferent display against Burnley as the Reds fell to a surprise 2-0 defeat at Turf Moor.
And Collymore has warned that the striker could become unsettled in future if they don’t play a system that suits him.
“Either play the lad as a striker with a balanced three behind him, or let him go,” he told BoyleSports.
“He looked lost and frustrated against Burnley and although it’s early days, I can see problems brewing there unless the best is got from this exceptional central striker.”

It will certainly be interesting to see how Daniel Sturridge fares under Jurgen Klopp this season.
The German was not slow in dropping him last season amid the on-going concerns about his fitness.
With them now having options to replace him, should he fail to impress it would not be surprising to see Liverpool let him leave despite his undeniable quality.
