Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will go through to the Champions League quarter-finals, predicts Stan Collymore.
Stan Collymore has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Juventus over two legs in the last 16 of the Champions League this season.
The former Liverpool striker believes that Premier League club Spurs will edge past Italian and European giants Juventus into the quarter-finals of Europe’s premier club competition.
Collymore has also predicted Liverpool to get the better of FC Porto in the last-16 of the Champions League.
The former England international striker has backed Manchester United to go through as well, but not Chelsea.
United will face Sevilla, while Chelsea will take on Barcelona for a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Manchester City will win against Basel, predicts Collymore.
Tottenham have a good team, but Juventus are very strong and have a lot of experience in the Champions League.
Spurs, though, showed against Real Madrid in the group stage that they can match the best teams in Europe, and the tie will not be over until the final minute of the second leg.
Liverpool will be favourites against Porto, but Jurgen Klopp’s side should not get complacent.
