Stan Collymore has predicted on Twitter that Liverpool will finish second in the Premier League table this season and Tottenham Hotspur will end up third.
The former Liverpool striker has backed Manchester City to win the league title yet again this season, and believes that Chelsea will finish fourth and clinch the final Champions League place.
Collymore has predicted Arsenal and Manchester United to end up fifth and respectively in the Premier League table this season.
No change from last season?
City won the Premier League title last season, picking up just one more point than second-placed Liverpool.
It seems that Collymore does not expect Pep Guardiola’s side to slip up in the title race this season, and many neutral fans will back the Citizens to clinch the championship title in 2019-20.
Chelsea finished third and Spurs cliched the fourth and final Champions League place last season, and it seems that Collymore think that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will leapfrog the Blues into third place.
