Stan Collymore has questioned the role of Aston Villa assistant manager John Terry in the team, as posted on Twitter.
The former Villa striker has also predicted the Villans to get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
Collymore has added that among the signings made by the Villans in recent times, only John McGinn and Tyrone Mings have been successful.
The former Liverpool striker made the comments about Villa on Twitter following Dean Smith’s side’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
Relegation worries
Villa played out a goalless draw with Sheffield United at Villa Park last week, and the defeat to Chelsea at the weekend has enhanced their chances of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Smith’s team are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 26 points from 30 matches, just a point behind 17th-placed West Ham United.
With games against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Liverpool and Manchester United to come, there is a very good chance that Villa will go down to the second tier of English football.
