Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton in the summer transfer window.

Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to speculation linking Everton star Romelu Lukaku with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, United are interested in signing Lukaku from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Belgium international will undergo a medical with United in Los Angeles, and that the two clubs have agreed on a £75 million transfer fee.

Former Liverpool striker Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his verdict on the 24-year-old striker’s proposed switch from Everton to United.

Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world and has been superb for Everton over the past few years.

During the 2016-17 campaign, the 24-year-old former Chelsea striker scored 25 goals and provided six assists in 37 Premier League appearances for the Toffees.

Signing the former Anderlecht striker would make United genuine contenders for the Premier League title next season.
