Watford were beaten 8-0 at Manchester City on Saturday.

Stan Collymore has described one Watford player’s reaction to Saturday’s 8-0 defeat against Manchester City as ‘desperately worrying’.
The game was only the second of Quique Sanchez Flores’s second spell in charge of the Hornets, after he replaced Javi Gracia earlier this month.
And writing in his weekly column for The Daily Mirror (September 24, page 51), the former Liverpool and England striker Collymore suggested that it could take another managerial change to keep Watford in the Premier League.
“As good as Manchester City were, Watford were embarrassing,” declared the pundit.
“And to see goalkeeper Ben Foster, a senior pro, laughing in his post-match interview was desperately worrying.
“That’s one of your leadership figures and I know I couldn’t even have done the interview after such a result, let alone smiled through it.

“I still expect Watford to stay up but it might take another managerial change.
“Foster behaving that way does not boe well for the Hornets or for new manager Quique Sanchez Flores.”
It is only four months since Gracia’s Watford, who achieved their highest top-flight finish (11th) in 32 years last season, were beaten 6-0 by Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
It has been suggested that the embarrassment of that day played a significant role in the club’s decision to sack Gracia just months into a new four-and-a-half-year contract.

Watford remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, without a win and three points from safety.
