Pundit Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to comment on the managerial situation surrounding former club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves announced on Tuesday afternoon that manager Walter Zenga had been sacked after less than three months in the job.

The Italian won just four league games from a possible 14, and leaves Wolves in 18th place in the Championship table, just four points clear of the relegation zone.
The Fosun Group must now get this appointment right having clearly failed with Zenga, with the pressure now on to find a suitable manager midway through the season.

The Mirror reported last night that Marco Silva is a candidate, as his representative Jorge Mendes – the world-renowned super agent – is working as an advisor to the Fosun Group in their search for a new manager.
With that in mind, pundit Stan Collymore – who had a spell with the Wolves youth setup – has taken to Twitter to have his say on the situation.

Collymore suggested that, with Mendes assisting Wolves in their search, there could be a ‘revolving door of left-field appointments’ over the course of the season, with the ex-England striker clearly unsure about the agent’s role at Molineux.
Collymore added that Wolves’ top target should be Sam Allardyce, in what would be an ambitious move. ‘Big Sam’ is out of work having lost his job as England manager last month, and given that he grew up supporting Wolves, Collymore believes that it would be a ‘no-brainer’ move to land him if possible, though he may not be too keen on working with Mendes so influential.
