The Swansea City man is heavily linked with move to Everton.
Stan Collymore has suggested on Twitter that Everton could squeeze Gylfi Sigurdsson and Ross Barkley into their first XI next season.
The Swansea City playmaker looks set to complete a big-money move to Everton after the Welsh club omitted him from their pre-season tour today.
City rejected a £40 million bid for the 27-year-old but, according to The Guardian, the Toffees are set to return with a bigger offer for the £50 million-rated star.

With Sigurdsson operating in a similar role as Barkley, it might mean that the highly-rated 23-year-old could be set to leave Goodison Park, with Tottenham reportedly interested.
It would appear as if Collymore rates the former Spurs man higher than Barkley, though the ex-Premier League striker believes that Koeman should fit them both into the same team.
Sigurdsson scored nine goals and set up 13 in 37 Premier League games last season, compared to five goals and eight assists in in 36 matches for Barkley.
At the moment, Sigurdsson is way ahead of the Everton ace in the creativity stakes and playing alongside superior talents will only make him improve.
