Aston Villa will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship.

Stan Collymore has suggested on Twitter that Aston Villa duo Ahmed Elmohamady and Neil Taylor are not good enough to play for the club in the Premier League.
The former Villa striker has suggested that 31-year-old right-back Elmohamady and 30-year-old left-back Taylor do not have the engine, legs or strength that modern full-backs need.
Collymore has suggested that the Villans – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – need to be ruthless and make harsh decisions this summer.

Good players
Elmohamady has been at Villa since 2017 and is an important player for Dean Smith’s side, but the Villans should think about replacing him in the long term, as he is 31 years of age.
Taylor is a very consistent footballer and has extensive Premier League experience, but given that the Wales international is 30 years old, maybe Villa should look at finding a long-term replacement for him as well.
