The football pundit intimates that these Arsenal stars aren’t world class.

Stan Collymore has intimated that Arsenal pair Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are not of a world-class status within the game.
The Gunners spent close to £80 million on the pair and they are far and away Arsenal’s best attacking options, but they failed to inspire the club to Premier League glory in arguably their best chance to end a 12-year title drought last season, finishing second behind Leicester City.

Individually, they enjoyed fruitful campaigns though, with Ozil particularly impressive – albeit a touch inconsistent perhaps.
The German schemer bagged no fewer than 19 Premier League assists, which is hugely impressive but 16 of these came in the first half of the campaign.
Sanchez, on the other hand, netted 13 times in the Premier League, but seven of these came in the final weeks of a title race in which Arsenal had more or less surrendered their bid already.

Collymore has now suggested that Arsenal may not have finished 10 points behind champions Leicester had the pair been bonafide world-class performers.
Whether they are world class or not remains to be seen, but they’re definitely as close as Arsenal have to elite players and both will be hoping to have more consistent campaigns next time around.
