Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United side were unable to pick up a point yesterday, after being sent down to 10 men.

Stan Collymore felt Newcastle United’s crowd were strangely subdued during their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday.
Newcastle took on Wolves at St. James’ Park on the back of a credible draw against Everton, but the noise levels around the stadium were not at their usual high levels.
The stadium felt a little flat on television, as Newcastle slipped to a 2-1 defeat.
And Collymore questioned whether anybody else thought Newcastle’s fans were quiet on social media website Twitter.
Newcastle had fallen behind early on against Wolves when Diogo Jota crashed the ball home from close range.
However, a clever header from Ayoze Perez had drawn Rafael Benitez’s side level.
Newcastle then looked set to hold on for a point with 10 men, but Wolves stole a winner in the last minute.
The defeat means that Newcastle have slipped down to 15th in the Premier League table.
