Stan Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Aston Villa’s win against Birmingham City in the Second City derby on Sunday afternoon.
Villa have got the better of Birmingham 1-0 away from home at St. Andrew’s Stadium in the Championship.
Jack Grealish scored the only goal of the match midway through the second half.
Former Villa striker Collymore has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Dean Smith’s side against Birmingham, and so has club legend Paul McGrath.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Andrew’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon, visitors Villa had 54% of the possession, took nine shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against Birmingham means that Villa are now ninth in the Championship table with 51 points from 36 matches.
The Villans are only four points behind sixth-placed Derby County and are very much in the race for the Championship playoffs this season.
