Stan Collymore and Aston Villa fans have messages for Tony Xia

Aston Villa failed to win promotion to the Premier League.

Stan Collymore has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the current situation at Aston Villa.

Villa will play in the Championship next season after failing to win promotion to the Premier League.

The Villans lost 1-0 to Fulham in the Championship playoff last month, and things are looking pretty bleak at Villa Park.

With FFP issues lurking, Villa may have to sell some of their best players in the summer transfer window.

As reported by BBC Sport, Villa chairman Tony Xia has short-term cash flow problems.

Former Villa striker Collymore has taken to Twitter to give his take on the situation at Villa Park, and has a message for Xia.

Villa fans have responded to Xia’s message on Twitter.

Now the hard choices. Sell up if cash flow continues to be issue or sell to someone who Villa FANS have done thorough DD on.

It is a tough period for Villa, and fans must be anxious about what is in store for the club.

Villa are a massive club, and it would be a shame if they have to sell some of their best players this summer and manager Steve Bruce does not stay for next season.
