Garry Monk resigned as manager of Leeds United earlier today.

Stan Collymore has suggested that Sunderland and Crystal Palace should both attempt to sign Garry Monk, following his departure from Leeds United.
Monk announced his resignation from Leeds earlier today, with the 38-year-old leaving Elland Road.
Monk’s decision to leave Leeds has been a major disappointment to supporters of the Yorkshire club.
And Collymore feels that both Sunderland and Palace should move quickly to snap the former Swansea boss up.
Sunderland are on the look out for a new manager following David Moyes’ resignation, while Palace need a new boss to replace Sam Allardyce.
Adam Virgo also reacted to the shock news, suggesting that he could not blame Monk for leaving Leeds.
Monk guided Leeds into seventh place in the Championship table, during his first season in charge at Leeds and was a very popular figure at Elland Road.
As things stand, Aitor Karanka is the favourite to take over at Leeds.
