Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Edinson Cavani.

Cavani is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain and has been linked with Leeds, who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching automatic promotion from the Championship.

Earlier this week, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani hinted at a move for the Uruguay international striker, as quoted on Football Italia and covered on HITC Sport here.

ESPN Uruguay subsequently reported that the West Yorkshire outfit have made contact with the former Napoli star, as covered by HITC Sport.

Cavani may be 33 years of age, but he is one of the best strikers in the world and a prolific goalscorer.

According to The Sun, the striker scored a total of 200 goals during his time at PSG, and won the Ligue 1 title six times with the French giants..

Some Leeds fans have given their take on Twitter on the prospect of watching Cavani in action at Elland Road.
