It looks like Arsenal might be winning the race to sign Yves Bissouma this summer.
There’s a lot of Premier League clubs interested in the Brighton midfielder but Arsenal, according to The Daily Star, have the drop on the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur as things stand.
The report adds that the Gunners are ‘confident’ of securing a £30 million deal for the 24-year-old star and that Mikel Arteta views him as a perfect partner for Thomas Partey.
And suffice to say that a lot of Arsenal fans are very excited over the prospect of getting him.

It makes you wonder what happens with Granit Xhaka if this deal comes off.
As mentioned, Arteta views him as the perfect midfield foil for Partey, not Xhaka.
If Bissouma is signed, Xhaka, who has been playing left-back in recent weeks to cover Kieran Tierney, suffers more than anybody.
It’s a bit of a surprise because Arteta, like Unai Emery and Arsene Wenger before him, is a big fan of the Switzerland international.
But perhaps the Spanish coach has identified a lack of mobility in midfield as being a problem for the Emirates Stadium club and if that’s the case, Bissouma will certainly solve that issue alongside Partey.
