Rangers suffered a shock cup defeat when the sides last met

In a remarkable season for Rangers, there has been only one major setback.

Steven Gerrard’s side have responded well to their cup exit, with three consecutive victories in the league. They secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Hibs at Ibrox on Saturday thanks to Ianis Hagi’s first-half strike.

They remain unbeaten in the Premiership, with 18 wins from their first 20 matches. That superb run has seen them accumulate a 16-point lead at the top of the table.
