Championship club Reading are interested in Mirco Antenucci.

According to reports from Gianluca di Marzio, Championship side Reading are planning to bolster their attacking line-up with the signing of Mirco Antenucci.
Reading have taken a huge leap of faith by appointing Jaap Stam as their manager recently. While Stam has been honing his skills at Ajax Amsterdam over the past few years, he does not have top level management experience and it will be interesting to see how the Dutchman does at Reading.

That being said, Stam’s presence could mean that Reading will be able to attract a couple of high profile players to the Madejski Stadium this summer and now according to reports from Gianluca di Marzio, claims have been made that the Royals are considering a move for Antenucci.
Despite his decent run of form last season, Antenucci was released by Leeds United over the summer and now a move back to Italy has been seen on the cards for the former Torino star.

However, clubs from England are also said to be keen on Antenucci and now Reading are reported to have expressed their interest in signing the 31-year-old striker.
Antenucci does have a lot of experience under his belt and despite the Italian’s advancing years, he could well prove to be a good addition to the Reading attack which managed only 52 goals in the Championship last season.
