Newcastle United’s relegation into the Championship is certainly a huge blow for a club of such size and history but despite the disappointment, Magpies fans will be heading into the upcoming campaign with a lot of optimism.
Such optimism stems from the fact that Rafael Benitez has decided to continue on as manager of the club and he has already started a revolution by securing the services of quality players such as Dwight Gayle, Matt Ritchie and Matz Sels over the past few days.
In addition to the new signings, Newcastle will be looking to get rid of the players who are not fully committed to the cause such as Georginio Wijnaldum and Moussa Sissoko among others, and potentially give promising youngsters a chance to shine.

The extremely talented Rolando Aarons will be one of those players who will be looking forward to making a mark on Newcastle first team during the upcoming campaign.

Following the drop down to the Championship though, Aarons will surely be handed more opportunities to shine and apart from the Newcastle fans, one man who is really looking forward to seeing the 20-year-old flourish is Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie.
Bolasie recently met up with Aarons and using social media website, Twitter, the Palace winger has stated his belief that the Newcastle youngster will be a player to watch out for during the upcoming season.
