Cesar Azpilicueta comments on Manchester United links.

Speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser (via El Desmarque), Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has stated that he has not heard anything from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho regarding a potential move this summer.
Azpilicueta is arguably one of the best full-backs in European football at the moment and the Spaniard certainly has to credit former Chelsea boss Mourinho for his rapid development as a player over the past few years.
Mourinho clearly rates Azpilicueta very highly and it was recently reported by Spanish newspaper AS that the Portuguese manager was keen on reuniting with the Spanish international at United this summer.

The reports stated that the 26-year-old would be available for as little as £11.8 million and that he had been seen as a potential replacement at Old Trafford for Matteo Darmian.
Naturally, Azpilicueta was quizzed regarding the transfer rumor and whether he had heard anything from Mourinho, by Spanish radio station Cadena Ser. Swiftly though, the Chelsea man denied any contact by simply replying, “No. If you believe me or not believe me.”

Along with United, Azpilicueta has been linked with Athletic Bilbao as well and the defender admitted that he is happy to have been linked with the Spanish side.
He continued: “It’s always a compliment that you are wanted, I’ve heard highly about Valverde, but I’m focused on the national team and Chelsea, I’ve been there for four years, I am very happy and I feel highly valued.”
