Alli was revealed as one of the best young talents on FIFA 17 alongside Manchester United man Anthony Martial.

With FIFA 17 fast approaching Spurs midfielder Dele Alli has been announced as one of the game’s gems by publisher EA Sports.

Although Alli’s base rating is still a commendable 80 overall, the 20-year-old’s 90 potential rating makes him one of the must-have players in the game’s career mode.

In fact, no young player is seen as having higher potential than the England international with Manchester United’s Anthony Martial the only other Premier League player to claim the same rating.

Premier League youngsters Kurt Zouma, Kelechi Iheanacho and Marcus Rashford also feature in the top 20 behind Alli.

And the 90 rating suggests that EA Sports believe Alli can go on to be as good as Gareth Bale is right now and better than the likes of Mesut Ozil and Sergio Aguero.

This is based on the players’ current base ratings for the upcoming game, due to be released 29 September in the UK.

The 20-year-old enjoyed a fantastic first season at White Hart Lane, scoring 10 goals to help Spurs finish a record high of third in the Premier League table.

But he has failed to make an impact so far this term as he looks to re-find his form and hopefully fulfill his potential in the way that FIFA suggests he can.
