Stoke City fans have once again been wowed by Tottenham loanee Jack Clarke.
The 20-year-old helped Stoke record a 2-0 win against Wycombe on Saturday, as the Tottenham speedster provided an assist for his side.
During the summer of 2019, Spurs signed Clarke from then-club Leeds United.
Mauricio Pochettino didn’t have him part of his instant plans because he was loaned straight back out to the Yorkshire club, who were then in the Championship.
But during that period, Clarke’s form and progression began to stagnate at the wrong time and Pochettino’s sacking didn’t help his cause.
However, it seems as though the highly-rated Tottenham talent has now found a home where he is thriving.
One thing is for sure, Stoke fans are loving the quality he is bringing to the table and some would like him to return next season.
Now, Stoke have ambitions of earning promotion to the Premier League.
And if Clarke helps them to that feat then his stock will only rise, but equally, if they miss out, they would like him to return and help them get back to the promised land.
