Graham Roberts has praised Tottenham Hotspur central defender Eric Dier on Twitter for his performance for Spurs against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The former Spurs star believes that Dier was “absolutely sensational” for Tottenham in the 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Roberts has also praised a number of others Spurs players, including midfielder Dele Alli.

Impressive performance
In our opinion, Dier played well for Spurs against Liverpool and proved why he is a regular in Antonio Conte’s team.
The England international was brilliant with his long-range passing from the back.
Although Dier was not always busy as Liverpool did not play with a traditional number 9, he was still alert to danger and made himself a force to be reckoned with at the back.
We think that Dier fits Conte’s three-main defensive system perfectly.
The 27-year-old is at the top of his game now, and, under Conte, in our view, he is only going to get better.
Things are looking up for Spurs and Dier.
