Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma appears to pick up an injury
Football London’s Alasdair Gold tweeted a photo of midfielder Yves Bissouam receiving medical attention on the pitch.
Gold noted that players were doing warm-down runs but Bissouma ‘slumped to the floor’ and was pointing at his foot.
Bissouma limped off the pitch and Tottenham fans will now be fearing an injury lay-off for the midfielder.
BIssouma suffered with an ankle problem last season and underwent surgery in February to repair a stress fracture.

The fear will be that Bissouma has suffered a recurrence of that injury and may miss the start of the season.
Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that as Bissouma has shown promising signs under Postecoglou this summer.
Spurs fans didn’t really get to see all that much of Bissouma last season after completing a move from Brighton and Hove Albion.

UPDATE: Postecoglou has now told Football London that it looks like Bissouma has avoided an injury and it was just exhaustion that caused him to go to ground.
