Tottenham Hotspur could land two of the world’s top young players this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur claimed a huge 3-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, but one of the main topics surrounding the club remains the future of defender Toby Alderweireld.
The 29-year-old hasn’t played in the Premier League since October, and there are concerns over his future amid claims from Football.London that Spurs are only offering him £130,000-a-week in a new contract, some way short of his £180,000-a-week demands.
A summer exit appears to be on the cards, and after losing Kyle Walker to Manchester City last summer, some fans may be concerned about losing another key player in such quick succession.

However, manager Mauricio Pochettino may just have the perfect plan to keep fans from being too disheartened, amid speculation that Spurs are targeting two young talents this summer.
Football.London report that Spurs want Ajax centre back Matthijs de Ligt in a deal which could cost around £50million this summer, whilst The Telegraph believe that a huge bid could be on the way for Fulham talent Ryan Sessegnon.
Tottenham allegedly want to pay around £35million for Sessegnon, whereas Fulham would want around £50million, meaning Spurs may be about to spend around £100million on two teenagers.

18-year-old centre back De Ligt would be one of the most perfect replacements for Alderweireld given his talent positionally and on the ball, whilst he already has a great rapport with Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez having played together in the Ajax defence last season.
Left-sided star Sessegnon, 17, would figure to replace Danny Rose as a left wing back in Tottenham’s setup, having excelled this season with 14 goals and five assists in the Championship.
Both players look set to become world stars in the coming years, and rather than break their wage structure to keep a player approaching 30, Spurs could instead show they are still building for the future by signing De Ligt and Sessegnon.
