The summer transfer window is lining up to one of the craziest in recent memory, and now Paulo Dybala looks set to be on the move after a bombshell story from Juventus.

As per Sky Sports News, the Argentine international will leave the Serie A giants at the end of this season after failing to agree to a new contract with Juventus, with Dybala set to join the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Divock Origi as greats of the modern game eyeing new clubs this summer.

Indeed, Dybala has been one of the best forwards over the past few years, with the 28-year-old bagging 113 goals and registering 48 assists in all competitions for Juventus since joining in 2015. Yet who should be targeting the attacker in the upcoming transfer window?

There’s no denying that the former Palermo superstar is a world-class player, yet which clubs could realistically be looking to sign Dybala this summer in what will be one of the biggest transfers this year?

Tottenham

Let’s just get the most obvious one out of the way first. Tottenham have already been linked with Dybala as per 90min and were close to signing the striker back in 2019, where infamously image rights of all things were the downfall for Spurs in landing the graceful forward.

Fast-forward to 2022, and although one could argue Tottenham have regressed since that summer, the presence of Antonio Conte alone should be a convincing enough reason for Dybala to swap the black and white of Juventus for the blue and white of Spurs.

With the north London side one of the few clubs who will be willing to match or even exceed Dybala’s reported £220,000-a-week wage, Tottenham stand with a genuine shot of signing the South American, especially if Harry Kane is to finally leave the club this summer.

Inter Milan

Dybala might not be the only Argentine talisman leaving a Serie A giant this summer, with Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez’s continuing to be linked with a move away from the San Siro. And for the Nerazzurri, the Juventus forward could be perfect to replace their own Albiceleste sensation.

Whilst Dybala and Martinez are fundamentality two different strikers, their qualities make them both perfect to serve in a two-man attack, with the Juventus star’s ability to play between the lines something that has made the 28-year-old so potent in recent years.

With Inter likely looking for a replacement for Martinez this summer and the Milan club also set to finish above Juventus this season, Dybala could be an incredible signing for Simone Inzaghi’s side in the upcoming transfer window.

Atletico Madrid

The problem for Dybala this summer is that most top teams already find themselves with world-class strikers, yet Atletico Madrid could be about to lose one in Joao Felix this transfer window, and this could open a door for a potentially exciting signing.

Indeed, Atletico have a proud history of both producing and developing world-class strikers, and Dybala could be next in line to follow this tradition if Diego Simeone decides to make a move for his fellow countryman and play to his strengths.

Whilst Felix has been somewhat underwhelming for Atletico given his huge price tag, Dybala will arrive in Madrid as the finished article and with the tactical nous to fit into Simeone’s complex system, especially if Antoine Griezmann also heads for the exit this off-season.
