Tottenham Hotspur travel to Wolves in two days’ time, with their form taking a turn for the worse in recent weeks.

Spurs were talked up a title contenders, but Jose Mourinho’s side have now taken just one point from their last nine available in the league.

That has seen them slide down the standings quickly, and Tottenham are now under pressure to get back to winning ways on Sunday.

In terms of team selection Mourinho is unlikely to do anything too drastic, but changes could be made.

Serge Aurier’s place is surely under threat, after he gave away a penalty in Spurs’s last league game against Leicester City.

Matt Doherty, the £12 million summer signing (Guardian), could, therefore, return to the line-up, and be given a chance to start in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s attack also didn’t seem to click against Leicester, and it may be that Steven Bergwijn is brought in to replace the injured Giovani Lo Celso.

Predicted XI: Lloris; Doherty, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Sissoko; Son, Ndombele, Bergwijn; Kane.
