Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has emerged as a top candidate for Atletico Madrid if they lose Jan Oblak, according to Spanish publication El Gol Digital.
Oblak has been heavily linked with a move away from the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano and is expected to command a fee of £88.75m to make him the most expensive goalkeeper in history.

Chelsea have been linked with the Slovenian by the Daily Mail, although they are more likely to give Thibaut Courtois a new contract – with Courtois also on Atleti’s wishlist.
Inter Milan’s Samir Handanovic is the other, but it seems that Lloris is the favourite should Diego Simeone be looking for a new stopper.

The France skipper has been with Spurs for almost five-and-a-half years since joining from Lyon in the summer of 2012, playing 235 games for them in all competitions since.
However, whether the chance to leave North London to head to the Spanish capital to work under Simeone would be tempting remains to be seen.
