Spurs legend Graham Roberts took to Twitter last night, and raved about his former side’s current defensive unit, claiming that he would not swap them for any other back-line in the world.
Tottenham have been superb defensively this season, and have conceded the joint fewest amount of goals in the division – an impressive 20 in 27 Premier League outings.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently sit in second position in the table, 10 points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, but could be overtaken tonight if Manchester City beat Stoke City at the Etihad.

And Roberts took to Twitter, sharing his feelings about the Lilywhites backline, offering them high praise by suggesting that he would not swap them for any other defensive unit:
What makes Tottenham’s defence seem all the more impressive is that the four players were brought into the club for not much more than £25 million combined.
And their combined value now is surely well in excess of £120 million.
Pochettino must make it his priority to keep the same group of players for the next few years at least, and if he does manage to do that, they have every chance of achieving success on all fronts.
