Is Antonio Conte signing a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur?
Well, that’s sort of the big question and one every Spurs supporter wants to know the answer to.
The 53-year-old manager is out of contract in North London at the end of this season and despite some poor results so far in the 2022-23 campaign, most of the fanbase will be praying that he puts pen to paper.
The former Inter Milan and Chelsea manager revealed earlier in November that it’s his ‘dream’ to sign a new contract at the Lilywhites [covered by HITC Sport].
And Alasdair Gold, who exclusively covers Tottenham for Football London, has an encourage update.
According to Gold, Conte left England for the World Cup break as a very happy man and seemed content with life with the Premier League outfit.
He told his YouTube channel: “From everything I was hearing behind the scenes before they had this break, he was in a good place, he was a happy chap. Maybe he’s been able to take a step back from the things that were maybe perhaps frustrating him about Spurs this season, and also reinforce his thinking about things he wants in the January window and the second half of the season.”

Well, so much of that depends on Daniel Levy.
If Conte and Fabio Paratici are allocated money to strengthen the squad in January then that’ll go a long way toward deciding whether he’s going to stick around or not.
Obviously Tottenham – who are fourth in the Premier League table – are in desperate need of reinforcements and if Levy does a Levy and withholds money for investment, he may well go.
