Tottenham Hotspur have really impressed this season.

Jamie Carragher raved about Tottenham, when speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football programme last night, suggesting that they have become his ‘second team’ over the past few years.
Spurs failed to sign a single player during the summer transfer window, but it seems as though they have improved this term, making their best ever start to a Premier League campaign, taking 30 points from their opening 13 league games.
Tottenham were quite simply brilliant against Chelsea on Saturday, and they looked like a team who will have a real part to play in the race for the Premier League title this season.
Carragher offered high words of praise for Mauricio Pochettino’s side when speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday night Football programme, sharing how fond he has become of the north London outfit:

“They were brilliant. Certainly for the last two or three years they’ve almost been my favourite team, behind Liverpool anyway. They battered Chelsea.”
If Tottenham continue to play like they have been recently, they will have every chance of closing the gap on City at the top of the table, and nobody would have predicted that in the summer, when Pochettino chose not to sign any new players.
