The new Premier League season may have only recently got underway, but there is already an international break on the horizon.

After this weekend’s games, players will head off around the world with their countries for the first time since the summer.

France named their squad earlier today, with Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte finally handed a call-up, whilst two Tottenham stars were also named in the side.

Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko were both called up once again, but the focus was more placed on who wasn’t in the squad than who was.

Spurs fans have noticed that midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been left out of the squad, and given that it’s unlikely that he would just be dropped, it seems that it’s an injury keeping him out.

Ndombele missed the game against Newcastle United on Sunday with a thigh injury, but fans were hoping that he would be back in time to face North London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

However, the fact that he hasn’t been called up by France suggests that he isn’t fit to play over the coming weeks, all but confirming that he won’t play this weekend.

Spurs fans have noticed that sign, admitted they’re now scared that Ndombele is missing Sunday’s huge game, with some even fearing that the injury is worse than first expected and the 22-year-old will now miss months and months.
