Tottenham Hotspur’s chase of Giovani Lo Celso may be boosted.

Tottenham Hotspur have landed their top midfield target in Tanguy Ndombele, but they still have one more to come in Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso.

The Mirror reported earlier this summer that Spurs had failed with a £62million move for Lo Celso, but his wish was to make the move in order to work with Mauricio Pochettino.

The move has gone a little quiet in recent weeks. Conflicting reports emerged last week, as Sky Sports firstly claimed that Spurs have shelved a deal because of the money involved.

However, Estadio Deportivo later suggested that a move to Tottenham was 80% done, and it remains to be seen what happens with the Argentine playmaker after his superb 16-goal season.

Real Betis may though have given an indication that they’ll sell Lo Celso after all, as they have been linked with signing a big-name playmaker in the coming days.

Le Parisien in France claim Lyon star Nabil Fekir is in advanced talks to join Betis, which would seemingly point towards Lo Celso being sold to fund an ambitious move for the Frenchman.

Tottenham fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the news of Fekir’s move, with many believing that it surely means Lo Celso’s move to North London is close.

Some feel that Fekir’s imminent move is the perfect scenario as it will send Lo Celso to Spurs, with many believing that a deal must be ‘nailed on’ if Betis are going for a big-money playmaker…
