Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are praising Tanguy Ndombele for his performance in the 0-0 draw away to Chelsea this evening.

The France international was named in Jose Mourinho’s first XI for the trip to Stamford Bridge, making him the only player to start all three of Spurs’ games this week.

Mourinho brought him off on 65 minutes but it was an excellent hour-and-a-bit for the former Lyon midfielder, who was arguably Tottenham’s best player on the pitch.

HIs drive from midfield was causing the hosts all sorts of issues, evident by the fact that he was consistently fouled by Chelsea players.

Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to his display on Twitter:

What a turnaround for Ndombele.

It was only during the summer when the Frenchman was struggling to even make Tottenham’s squad on a regular basis following reports that he had fallen out with the Portuguese coach.

But it looks pretty obvious now that the two have patched up whatever issues existed during Project Restart and it’s clear to see Spurs are benefiting – and thensome.
