Tottenham Hotspur may be keeping Danny Rose after all.

Tottenham Hotspur have jetted off to Munich for the Audi Cup, as they continue to ramp up their preparations for the new Premier League season.

Spurs have just left Asia after playing Juventus and Manchester United out in the Far East, and now head to Munich for the final stages of their pre-season.

Today, they take on Real Madrid, and Tottenham confirmed the travelling squad on Monday – which featured Danny Rose.

The 29-year-old left back was left back in England when Spurs went to Asia, as he was left behind to explore signing for another club.

However, no move materialised for Rose, and Tottenham have now taken the decision to reintroduce him to the squad for the latest step in their pre-season plans.

With Ben Davies out injured and no left back signed, Rose may now be needed for the coming season, though using him in the Audi Cup may just be to get him in the shop window.

Spurs fans are reacting on Twitter though, and some feel that it now means that Rose will be staying and playing, with some sad that Ryan Sessegnon may no longer be signing.

Others are excited, believing that he’s absolutely vital to the Spurs side and shouldn’t be sold, claiming Spurs need him next season rather than offloading him – and we will now wait and see whether Rose really has been given another chance under Mauricio Pochettino.
