Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are in favour of hearing who Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho reportedly want in North London.
According to ESPN, Tottenham are interested in signing relegation-threatened goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from West Bromwich Albion this summer.
It remains to be seen if Spurs are trying to sign a long-term successor for Hugo Lloris or just a more reliable number two option than former England international Joe Hart.
Sam Allardyce’s side are eight points adrift of safety with eight Premier League games to go and although Albion have history of great escapes, their form suggests that relegation could be inevitable.
Here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to the speculation on Twitter:
As a back-up for Lloris, Johnstone could be a very decent option, but if we’re talking somebody to replace the long-serving France international then Levy should probably be a little more brazen with the budget.
Lloris has been Tottenham’s goalkeeper for nine years and let’s face it, you’re not going to get a stellar replacement for £10 million these days.
